I live in the Northern Panhandle of Florida. The sand here never gets hot, it is sugar white and soft. I feel blessed to have a husband who is my best friend and biggest fan. I am a Stepmom to 2 , a MawMaw to 1 and a Mom to 3 fur kids. My brother was the artist in my family but I always loved to learn new crafts and make things with my hands. In 2010 I made a charm bracelet and so began my obsession, I mean love, of beads. It also introduced me to this whole world of warm, funny, quirky and incredibly talented people who create jewelry and make beads. For a few years I made beautiful jewelry and my bead obsession grew.
In 2013 I decided to try making my own beads using polymer clay. It seemed to be a natural fit, I just love creating with clay! It is so incredibly fun and rewarding to take a lump of clay and form it into something beautiful and original. Artbeads are little handmade treasures that jewelry designers bring to life.
